“Serenity at the Lagoon”

For my exhibition, “The Pillars of Friendship,” this sculpture depicts the pillar of presence, which is best enjoyed when you find someone you feel truly comfortable and safe with, and when you carry peace within. Quality time doesn’t demand that your friend entertain you, simply that they are themselves next to you. In this sculpture, you see the mermaid napping while the fairy soaks in the sunshine, and even butterflies may rest and enjoy the peace emanating from their bond.
